Job summary

Emerus Holdings, Inc. is seeking a dedicated healthcare professional for a full-time Night Shift role (7P-7A) at a small-format emergency hospital.

Responsibilities include gathering clinical data, specimen collection, and supporting patient care under the supervision of a charge nurse. Required are a GED/HS diploma and relevant health-care training; BLS is required, ACLS/ALS preferred in most markets, with travel to multiple facility locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED and completion of one of the listed health-related programs or equivalent experience.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/ALS preferred in most markets; Act 33/Act 73 clearances may be required in certain markets.
• Experience with IV starts, phlebotomy, and EKG initiation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect, report, and document clinical data and vital signs.
• Collect lab samples and perform lab testing per policies and CLIA regulations.
• Assist with patient activities and care per plan of care; provide wound care.
• Maintain patient privacy and maintain a clean, safe environment; follow aseptic technique.
• Assist with admission, transfer, discharge, and patient transport between areas.
• Travel to all facility locations as required and participate in meetings.
