Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking patient-focused caregivers for the Emergency Room team. You will assist RNs, perform basic clinical tasks, and support patient comfort in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of CNA/EMT/CMA or direct patient care experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and sterile techniques.
• Ability to work under pressure and follow directions in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and comfort under RN supervision.
• Perform clerical and clinical tasks per unit procedures.
• Obtain EKGs, draw labs, and take vital signs as assigned.
• Maintain medical records and documentation accurately and promptly.
• Assist with patient preparation for procedures and hospital activities.
