Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician III for the 10:45 p.m. to 7:15 a.m. night shift. You will assist RNs with patient care, perform vital signs, EKGs, POC tests and phlebotomy, and help with daily living activities in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The role requires high school education, BLS, and prior acute care or EMT experience. We value teamwork, safety, and compassionate patient interactions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school education or GED.
• Current Basic Life Support.
• Demonstrated competency in PCT II level or 1 year acute care/hospital experience or 1 year EMT Paramedic experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear, timely communication to the RN.
• Maintain patient safety and assist with daily living activities.
• Perform vital signs, EKGs, POC tests and phlebotomy where required.
• Assist with patient positioning, transport, and equipment setup.
• Maintain logs and medical records as needed.
