Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is seeking a skilled maintenance/controls technician for a 3rd shift role to install, configure, and troubleshoot automation equipment in a manufacturing setting.

You will work with PLCs, servo systems, HMI interfaces, and 480V power distribution, ensuring high uptime and safety. The ideal candidate has PLC programming experience, familiarity with encoders and load cells, and a strong grasp of electrical schematics.

Qualifications

• Requires proven experience with PLCs and servo systems in a manufacturing setting.
• Must be able to troubleshoot analog/digital controls on 480V, 3-phase systems.
• Demonstrates understanding of safety procedures and lockout/tagout.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot photo eyes, proximity, limit switches, PLC I/O modules, and related wiring.
• Provide troubleshooting for analog/digital controls and drive systems (VFDs, servo drives, soft starts).
• Program and troubleshoot PLC and HMI interfaces; modify ladder logic as needed.
• Diagnose communication protocols and sensors; maintain calibration of encoders and load cells.
