Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is seeking a maintenance technician for the 3rd shift to install, configure and troubleshoot industrial controls and equipment.

You will work with PLCs, servo systems, encoders, load cells, and HMI interfaces, performing ladder logic programming and diagnostics on 480V 3‑phase systems, Profibus, and Ethernet. Benefits include 401(k), health and dental insurance, relocation assistance; on-site, in-person work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with PLCs and servo systems.
• Experience with computerized maintenance systems preferred.
• Experience maintaining packaging equipment in manufacturing preferred.
• Understanding of safety procedures (lockout/tagout, confined spaces, PPE) preferred.
• Experience with electrical encoders, servomotors, and amplifiers preferred.
• Proficient with electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot photo eyes, prox switches, limit switches, PLC I/O and wiring.
• Troubleshoot analog/digital controls with 480V 3-phase power, motors, VFDs, servos, soft starts.
• Maintain and troubleshoot position feedback devices incl. encoders and load cells.
• Program and troubleshoot PLC and HMI interfaces; modify ladder logic.
• Troubleshoot graphic HMI interfaces and communication protocols (Profibus, serial, industrial Ethernet).
• Diagnose issues using electrical schematics; perform preventive maintenance on lasers, conveyors, and production equipment.
