Mount Carmel East in Columbus, OH is hiring an Emergency Department Technician to support patient care during 12-hour night shifts (6pm-6:30am) with rotating weekends and holidays. You will respond to patient needs, assist with transport, prepare equipment, and perform phlebotomy and EKG under supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• Successful completion of basic patient care skills & BLS.
• Previous patient care experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Respond to patient needs in a timely manner.
• Transport and escort patients as needed.
• Perform phlebotomy and collect lab specimens.
• Conduct EKG and assist in trauma, stroke, sepsis alerts.
• Document vital signs and report changes to RN/physician.
