Mount Carmel Health System in Columbus, OH, seeks an Emergency Department Technician for three 12‑hour night shifts per week (6pm–6:30am) with rotating weekends/holidays. You will support ED operations, assist patients, document vitals and procedures, and collaborate with RNs and physicians to provide compassionate care.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, BLS, and basic patient‑care skills with EKG/phlebotomy training.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification required; basic patient care skills and EKG/phlebotomy training included.
• Previous patient care experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Responds to patient needs promptly and professionally.
• Transport and escort patients as needed.
• Set up equipment and perform eye irrigations as required.
• Perform phlebotomy and collect lab specimens per orders.
• Assist in trauma, stroke, heart and sepsis alerts and resuscitation.
• Wound care and sterile technique as appropriate.
• Perform suture/staple removal (excluding facial region).
• Foley care, specimen collection, and data documentation.
• Record vital signs and changes; report to RN/physician promptly.
• Assist with EKGs and overall patient data management.
