Job summary

Trinity Health Oakland is seeking a Patient Access Rep II for the Emergency Department to support registration, insurance verification, and patient financial clearance. This full-time night-shift role involves approximately 6pm–6:30am across three 12-hour shifts at the on-site facility.

There is also a part-time day shift opening and a contingent role for coverage on all shifts. The position requires strong customer service, accuracy, and knowledge of medical terminology.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• HFMA CRCR or NAHAM CHAA within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Register patients for outpatient and inpatient services.
• Verify insurance information and payer requirements.
• Collect patient payments and explain financial obligations.
