Job summary

Qualifications

• 1 year customer service experience required.
• HS Diploma or equivalent
• HFMA CRCR or NAHAM CHAA required within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and family members and verify demographic, clinical and insurance information.
• Enter patient/guarantor data into the patient accounting system.
• Process signed physician orders and perform online insurance eligibility/benefit verification.
• Notify patient/guarantor and collect patient liabilities; refer to financial counseling as needed.
• Provide escort and directional support to patients, family members and visitors.
