Gift of Hope Organ & Tissue Donor Network is seeking a dedicated night-shift coordinator to handle donor-related calls and referrals in Illinois. You will document information, coordinate logistics for organ, tissue, and eye referrals, and maintain compliant, timely communication with hospitals and on-call teams.

The role emphasizes empathy, precision, and teamwork within a 7 PM–7 AM, rotating weekend schedule, with a comprehensive benefits package and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA handling of records.
• Ability to stay focused in a high activity environment and manage confidential data.
• Strong customer service mindset with attention to detail and urgency.

Responsibilities

• Receive and refer donor-related calls to procurement, transplant, and hospital staff.
• Document information accurately and in a timely manner.
• Coordinate logistics for tissue/donor referrals and follow up with hospitals.
• Obtain coroner/medical examiner permissions as needed and maintain compliance.
• Perform routine competency evaluations and support on-call communication.
