Job summary

You will review and proofread complex documents, format and convert as needed, and coordinate workload across shifts with a focus on meeting client deadlines.

The role requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent, 3+ years of office experience, advanced MS Office skills, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; years of experience acceptable.
• Minimum of 3 years prior office experience, proofreading, word processing or document production experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite; able to troubleshoot applicable software.
• Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Intakes work requests from the client and clarifies deadlines.
• Prioritizes and coordinates multiple projects across the team.
• Leads as a definitive resource for document production, proofreading and QA.
• Identifies and corrects errors to ensure quality of return product.
• Checks proofs vs markup for accuracy and formatting.
• Trains new and existing team members on processes and trends.
• Communicates with manager or client on job or deadline issues.
• Ensures adherence to company policies and professional standards.
• Collaborates across shifts to meet client expectations for quality and timeliness.
