Job summary

RR Donnelley & Sons in Columbus is seeking a Document Production Workflow Coordinator to deliver high‑quality document production services and exceptional client support. You will assess complex documents, perform proofreading, formatting, and conversions, ensuring accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

The role begins on-site for training and transitions to a remote model, with shifts Wed-Sun from 12am–9am ET and ongoing training responsibilities for the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with years of experience able to substitute.
• Minimum of 3 years prior office experience, proofreading, word processing or document production experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite; able to technically troubleshoot applicable software specific to the business/client.
• MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) certification desired.
• Advanced knowledge of document production and/or proofreading procedures and/or generally accepted practices.

Responsibilities

• Intakes work requests from the client; clarify job instructions and deadlines with the requester.
• Prioritize work across team and coordinate multiple projects with established guidelines.
• Lead as a definitive resource for document production, proofreading and quality assurance.
• Identify and correct errors in complex business documents to ensure quality.
• Check corrected proofs against mark-up for comparison and QA.
• Facilitate training and development of team members on processes and trends.
• Communicate with manager and client on job or deadline issues in a timely and professional manner.
