Job summary

SpaceXAI is seeking a Construction Superintendent, Electrical (Night Shift) in Memphis, TN. You will oversee electrical contractors and crews for the data center build, including underground ducts, high/medium voltage, grounding, and power distribution.

This full-time, onsite role requires leading foremen, coordinating schedules, and enforcing SpaceXAI safety standards on a complex, mission-critical project. Relocation may be needed for additional locations nationwide.

Qualifications

• 3+ years managing electrical construction teams on large-scale projects.
• 3+ years hands-on experience in underground duct banks, high/medium voltage, power distribution, and related systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical installations including duct banks, conduits, cable pulling, switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS, PDUs, and grounding.
• Coordinate electrical contractors and on-site crews to meet milestones with safety and quality.
• Ensure compliance with electrical scope and data center reliability standards.
• Monitor night-shift progress, maintain logs and as-built documentation.
• Develop aggressive construction schedules and manage budgets.
• Lead safety program to achieve a zero-incident culture around energized equipment.
• Supervise foremen and crews, fostering teamwork and accountability.
• Resolve on-site challenges with focus on reliability and code compliance.
• Conduct night-site inspections for compliance with codes and SpaceXAI standards.
• Prepare progress reports and risk updates for senior leadership.
