Job summary

Trinity Health’s Ontario OB Department is seeking a part-time Certified Surgical Technologist to support obstetric operations and patient care during the night shift. The CST will assist with cesarean procedures, room patients, take vitals, and help with daily unit tasks under RN supervision.

Responsibilities include setup for surgeries, patient care duties, and acting as Unit Clerk and CNA as needed to ensure high-quality patient care; opportunities for growth and continuous learning are

Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) by NBSTSA or TS-C by NCCT is required.
• BLS for healthcare providers certification is required at hire.

Responsibilities

• As CST/Obstetrics Technician, assist with overnight cesarean sections by preparing procedures under RN supervision.
• Support surgical teams, room patients, set up charts, take vitals, and bathe the baby.
• Serve as Unit Clerk and Certified Nursing Assistant to deliver patient care.

Tech in Surgery-Certified (TS-C) NCCT

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
