Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking a part-time Certified Surgical Technologist for the Ontario OB Department. The role focuses on assisting with overnight cesarean sections and supporting patient care in the unit, under RN supervision.

Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) by NBSTSA or TS-C by NCCT required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup and preparation of surgical procedures for overnight c-sections under RN supervision.
• Provide direct communication with surgical teams and supervisory staff.
• Support department operations by rooming patients, setting up charts, taking vitals, assisting with baby baths, stocking, and serving as Unit Clerk/CNA as needed.
