Job summary

Trinity Health in Ontario, Oregon is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for our Main Operating Room. This full-time, day-shift role supports surgeons and nurses by preparing rooms, sterilizing equipment, and assisting during procedures to help achieve safe, efficient patient care.

Minimum qualifications include certification as a CST (NBSTSA) or TS-C (NCCT) and BLS; ACLS/PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS. Some call may be required; relocation incentives may be offered.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) by NBSTSA or TS-C by NCCT is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or Red Cross is required.
• ACLS and/or PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge and skills to care for all assigned age groups (neonate to geriatric).
• Maintains aseptic technique and adheres to safety policies.
• Performs instrument, sponge, and sharp counts accurately for all procedures.
• Assists and supports the RN Circulator to prepare rooms and obtain equipment.
