Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Ontario OB Department is hiring a part-time Certified Surgical Technologist to support obstetrics procedures and patient care on the night shift. Responsibilities include assisting with overnight C-sections, rooming patients, chart preparation, vitals, baths, and serving as unit clerk and CNA as needed.

The role offers day-one benefits, potential incentives, and a schedule of 24 hours per week from 7pm to 7am, with weekends/holidays possible, in the Idaho/Oregon region.

Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) by the NBSTSA or as a Tech in Surgery-Certified (TS-C) by the NCCT required.
• Basic Life Support for healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with overnight cesarean sections by providing setup and preparation of surgical procedures for physicians and staff under RN supervision.
• Room patients, set up charts, take vitals, give baby baths, stock the unit, and support as a Unit Clerk and CNA as needed.
