Job summary

Memorial Health in Tennessee seeks an OB Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for a full-time night shift. This on-site role supports cesarean sections, assists with draping and instrument use, and requires strict adherence to sterile techniques.

Applicants must graduate from a recognized Surgical Technologist program, hold national certification and CPR within 6 months of graduation or start date, with ongoing competency training as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized Surgical Technologist program, or in the last semester of an approved program is required.
• National certification and CPR certification are required within 6 months of graduation from recognized program, or within 6 months start date of employment. If the employee allows certification to lapse they must re-certify within 3 months from the expiration date or employment can be suspended or terminated.

Responsibilities

• Perform scrub technologist duties for scheduled and unscheduled cesarean sections.
• Assist with draping and utilization of instruments for OB related surgical procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and sterilization procedures.
