Job summary

QTS Realty Trust is seeking a Supervisor, Critical Operations to oversee electrical, mechanical, and plumbing maintenance for our data centers. You will supervise a team, coordinate preventive maintenance, and ensure rapid response to incidents on a 24/7 schedule, with no remote work.

You will lead, train, and mentor technicians, manage budgets for parts, and liaise with the Critical Operations Manager and Site Director to maintain safe and reliable data center operations.

Qualifications

• Four or more years of workplace or relevant industry experience.
• Previous direct or indirect people leadership experience.
• Six or more years of workplace or relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Establish, implement, and maintain facility policies and procedures.
• Lead preventive maintenance on critical systems and equipment.
• Oversee work orders for preventive and corrective maintenance and budgeting.
• Coordinate Data Center space and cable plant design and maintenance.
• Provide updates to the Critical Operations Manager and Site Director.
• Stand-in for the Critical Operations Manager as needed.
• Supervise, train, develop, mentor, and coach Critical Operations Technicians.
• Ensure customer requests are completed and resolved promptly.
