Job summary

CMHA-CEI seeks a dedicated individual to support persons with mental illness and substance use disorders in crisis within AMHS/Crisis Services in Lansing, MI. Under supervision, you will deliver enhanced supportive services and direct interventions to clients in crisis.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year of relevant experience, computer proficiency, and a valid Michigan driver’s license with reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Experience interacting with persons with emotional impairments.
• Ability to operate a computer and gain proficiency in CMHA-CEI's systems (Smart Care, Word).
• Valid Michigan driver's license and access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide enhanced support for persons with mental illness and substance use disorders in crisis.
• Carry out activities of the program/sub-unit in line with CMHA-CEI's mission, policies and procedures.
