Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field required or to be obtained within 60 days of application.
• Possession of a State of Michigan credential required or must have applied for and able to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• One year of professional or paraprofessional experience with youth and families affected by Severe Emotional Disturbance.

Responsibilities

• Provide short-term, urgent crisis intervention for youth at risk of out-of-home placement.
• Conduct intake assessments, office-based and mobile psychiatric screenings, referrals, and family interventions requiring crisis/safety planning.
• Collaborate with other service providers and document case activities across office, community and home settings.
