Job summary

Performance Team is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic for our Cedar Hill, TX warehouse. The role focuses on maintaining and troubleshooting conveyor systems and related equipment in a high-volume distribution environment.

You will work with operations and maintenance staff to ensure reliability and minimize downtime. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of industrial maintenance experience, hands-on knowledge of conveyors, bearings, motors, gearboxes, and basic pneumatics/hydraulics, and a commitment

Qualifications

1–3 years of industrial maintenance, manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, facilities, or related maintenance experience.
Experience working with conveyor systems and related mechanical components such as bearings, belts/chains, rollers, motors, gearboxes.
Ability to troubleshoot basic electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain conveyor systems and material handling equipment.
Diagnose and repair mechanical components including bearings, rollers, belts, chains, sprockets, motors, and gearboxes.
Assist in troubleshooting basic electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Observe equipment operation and identify potential mechanical failures or performance issues.
Remove, repair, or replace defective components to restore equipment functionality.
Test equipment after repairs to verify safe operation.
