Job summary

Maersk Warehousing & Distribution Services USA LLC in Cedar Hill, TX is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to maintain conveyors and material handling equipment in a warehouse setting. Shift: First Shift, 6:00 pm - 4:30 am, Mon-Fri. Requires 1–3 years industrial maintenance and conveyor systems experience.

You will troubleshoot, repair and perform preventive maintenance, document findings, and support safety and reliability initiatives. Bilingual English/Spanish and CMMS experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing or warehousing.
• Experience with conveyor systems and material handling equipment.
• Basic electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting abilities.
• CMMS familiarity (SAP, Maximo, Fiix or similar).
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain conveyor systems and material handling equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical components including bearings, belts, rollers, motors and gearboxes.
• Assist in basic electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting.
• Observe operation, identify issues, and replace defective parts.
• Test equipment after repairs to verify safe operation.
• Perform preventive maintenance and document findings.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
• Follow safety procedures including OSHA and LOTO requirements.
