Electrical Automation Services in Buckeye, AZ is seeking a seasoned Controls Engineer for the night shift to provide on-site automation support at our Glendale-area facility. You will act as the on-shift controls expert, guiding troubleshooting across PLCs, HMIs, drives, and networks while collaborating with operations and maintenance teams.

Ideal candidates bring 4+ years of automation experience, strong PLC and HMI skills, and the ability to read electrical schematics.

Formación

• Associate degree in engineering technology or related field; equivalent industry experience may be considered.
• 4+ years in industrial automation or controls in high-speed manufacturing.
• Strong PLC troubleshooting and programming capabilities.
• Experience troubleshooting HMIs, VFDs, servo systems, networks, and electrical control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and control drawings.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the primary on-shift controls and automation expert.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting for automated production, processing, and packaging equipment.
• Diagnose PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, instrumentation, and network issues.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and restore production safely and efficiently.
• Develop and execute controls projects to improve safety, quality, reliability, and throughput.
• Support equipment commissioning, controls upgrades, new installations, and system integration.
• Provide technical leadership, training, and mentorship to maintenance technicians and operators.
