Job summary

100Hires, Inc. seeks a skilled Controls Engineer for night shift at our Glendale, AZ facility.

You will lead automation and controls support across production lines, diagnose PLC/HMI/VFD issues, and implement reliability improvements to boost throughput. You will mentor maintenance technicians, collaborate with operations, engineering, and quality, and participate in change control for controls upgrades and new installations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in automation/controls.
• Four+ years in industrial automation/controls in high-speed manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-shift controls and automation expert.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting for PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, and networks.
• Diagnose and fix equipment failures to minimize downtime.
• Develop and execute controls projects to improve safety, quality and throughput.
• Support equipment commissioning, upgrades, and system integration.
• Mentor maintenance technicians and operators on controls best practices.
