Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Glendale, AZ is seeking an experienced Automation & Controls Engineer to support a large, highly automated manufacturing facility. This hands-on role focuses on equipment reliability, troubleshooting, and leading controls projects, including robotics and packaging systems.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of Allen-Bradley PLC experience, strong PLC programming skills, and ability to work on night shift.

Qualifications

5+ years of Allen-Bradley PLC experience.
Strong PLC programming and troubleshooting capabilities.
Experience with HMIs, VFDs, instrumentation, and sensors.
Ability to diagnose electrical control systems using PLC logic and schematics.
Experience in high-speed manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on automation and controls support for production equipment.
Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, instrumentation, sensors, and networks.
Perform PLC programming, modifications, and controls optimization.
Support automation upgrades, equipment installations, commissioning, and continuous-improvement projects.
Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, operations, and OEM/vendor teams.
