Job summary

100Hires, Inc. seeks an Automation & Controls Engineer for a large Glendale facility. You will provide hands-on support for high-speed production, troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and sensors, and execute control projects.

Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, operations, and equipment vendors to improve uptime and reliability. The role requires 5+ years with Allen-Bradley PLCs, strong programming and troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work the designated night shift in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Allen-Bradley PLC experience.
• Strong PLC programming and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Experience with high-speed production or packaging environments.
• Ability to work in a night-shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on automation and controls support for production equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, and control systems.
• Diagnose failures using PLC logic, schematics, and data.
• Perform PLC programming, modifications and optimizations.
• Support maintenance, engineering, and OEM/vendor teams on upgrades.
