Electrical Automation Services is seeking a skilled Controls Engineer for a Glendale, AZ night-shift role. You will be the on-site controls expert, troubleshooting PLC/HMI, VFD, and servo systems across packaging lines, with a focus on safety and uptime.

You will lead controls projects, mentor maintenance staff, and collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering, and quality teams to drive throughput improvements and reliability.

Qualifikationen

• Associate degree in engineering technology or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 4+ years of industrial automation or controls experience in high-speed manufacturing.
• Strong PLC troubleshooting and programming capabilities.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, control drawings, and technical documentation.

Aufgaben

• Serve as the primary on-shift controls and automation expert.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting for automated production, processing, and packaging equipment.
• Diagnose PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, instrumentation, motion-control, and industrial-network issues.
• Develop and execute controls projects to improve safety, quality, reliability, and throughput.
• Maintain PLC and HMI program backups, controls documentation, and electrical drawings.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering, and quality on continuous-improvement initiatives.
