Advocate Health is seeking a Nurse Aide to join the 35823 AMC Manitowoc County - Med Surg: IU Surgical and Oncology team. The role supports daily patient care under RN supervision, including mobility, hygiene, and feeding, with accurate documentation in the EMR.

The position is full-time with night shifts (6:30 PM–7:00 AM), 3 days per week, plus every 4th weekend and holiday. BLS within 45 days and valid Nurse Aide registry status are required.

Qualifications

• BLS certification must be obtained within 45 days.
• Nurse Aide in good standing as indicated with the State Registry.
• GED or High School Diploma or equivalently recognized GED/HSED credentials.

Responsabilités

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, hygiene, feeding, and mobility.
• Document vital signs, intake/output, weights, and other data in the EMR.
• Perform patient rounding and communicate observations to the RN.
• Support admission, transfer, and discharge activities and room setup.
• Collect specimens and perform point-of-care testing as directed.
• Assist with positioning, transport, nutrition needs, and skin care as directed.
