Job summary

Advocate Health (Manitowoc County Med Surg) is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support daily patient care in a full-time night shift role. You will work under the supervision of RNs, perform vital signs, assist with activities of daily living, and document accurately in the EMR.

The position requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs and to work 36 hours per week. Qualified candidates hold a GED/HSED or high school diploma, BLS certification within 45 days, and Nurse Aide registry in good standing.

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to set priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care (bathing, feeding, positioning, ROM).
• Document vital signs, intake/output, daily weights in EMR.
• Perform rounding and communicate patient needs to RN.
• Assist in admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
• Prepare and manage patient belongings and room setup.
• Maintain stock and cleanliness of nursing areas.
• Assist with transport and patient transfers.
• Support dietary needs and skin care for patients.
