Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant in Manitowoc County ICU. You will assist the RN with daily patient care, monitor vital signs, document in EMR and support admission, transfer, and discharge processes.

Responsibilities include patient positioning, hygiene, feeding, and safety under supervision. Must have GED/HSED or high school diploma, BLS certification within 45 days, and Nurse Aide in good standing.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to set priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assists RN with daily care of patients including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, activity orders and ambulation.
• Measures and documents vital signs and patient data.
• Documents in EMR and communicates observations to RN.
• Participates in admission, transfer and discharge under supervision of RN.
• Maintains patient safety and supplies, lifts and transfers as required.
