Advocate Condell Medical Center is seeking a Part Time Nurse Aide for night shifts (6:30 PM–7:00 AM). The role involves assisting the RN with daily patient care, monitoring vitals, and documenting in the EMR. Schedule includes rotating weekends and holidays, with a 0.6 FTE commitment (6:30 PM–7:00 AM).

Candidates must have GED/HSED or HS diploma and be in good standing on the State Nurse Aide Registry, plus BLS certification within 45 days. Benefits eligible with comprehensive hospital rewards.

Competenze

• GED or high school diploma (HSED) or high school graduate.
• BLS certification within 45 days of hire.
• Nurse Aide in good standing as per State Registry.

Mansioni

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding and ambulation.
• Measure and document vitals, intake/output, daily weights and other data in EMR.
• Conduct purposeful rounds and communicate observations to RN.
• Assist in admission, transfer and discharge processes.
• Collect specimens and assist with point-of-care testing as directed.
• Restock nursing area and maintain clean equipment and work areas.
• Assist with patient positioning and transfers using proper technique and equipment.
• Support nutritional needs: diet review, tray setup and removal, and patient comfort.
