Qualifications

• Adheres to infection prevention and hand hygiene practices.

Responsibilities

• Assists RN with daily care of patients including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, activity orders and ambulation.
• Measures and documents blood pressures, TPRs, I&O, daily weights, and other patient data in EMR.
• Performs rounding and communicates observations to RN; participates in admission, transfer and discharge under RN supervision.
• Collects specimens and performs point-of-care testing as indicated; maintains competency.
• Returns and manages patient belongings, cleans equipment and supplies, and assists with transfers and nutrition-related tasks.
