Advocate Health Care is seeking a Nursing Assistant for the Observation Unit at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital. This full-time role covers 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.

with 36 hours weekly, including rotating weekends and holidays. You will assist with basic patient care, document vitals and care activities, and support the RN in admissions, transfers, and discharges. Qualifikationen

• BLS certification within 45 days of hire.
• Nurse Aide in good standing on the state registry where you practice.
• GED/HS equivalency or high school diploma.
• No prior experience required for this role.

Aufgaben

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, hygiene, feeding, activity orders, and ambulation.
• Measure and document vitals (BP, pulse, respiration), intake/output, daily weights.
• Document accurately in the EMR and communicate observations to RN.
• Participate in admissions, transfers and discharges under RN supervision.
• Maintain stock, clean equipment, and help with positioning and transfers.
• Ensure patient safety by keeping call lights in reach and responding promptly.
• Assist with nutritional needs and skin care for patients as directed.
