Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas is seeking a Clinical Staff Pharmacist for night shifts (9pm–7am), working 7 on/7 off with full-time benefits. The role focuses on reviewing orders, dispensing medications, and collaborating with care teams to ensure patient safety.

The ideal candidate has a PharmD or BS and at least 1 year of pharmacy experience, with Texas licensure eligibility within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree — BS or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required.
• 1 year of pharmacy experience required.
• Eligible for licensure by Texas State Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs job responsibilities in accordance with organizational and departmental policies and safety standards.
• Reviews medication orders for therapeutic appropriateness and safety.
• Manages technicians and supports staff, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Communicates drug information to physicians, nurses, and patients.
• Ensures compliance with formulary policies and contributes to cost-effective care.
