Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health's Winchester Hospital is seeking a Clinical Associate to support patient care on 12-hour night shifts, including weekends and holidays. Under RN supervision, you will assist with ADLs, vital signs, specimen transport, and basic procedures to enhance safety and comfort.

Requirements include a high school diploma/equivalent, BLS certification, and CNA or nursing student with clinical rotation, or prior clinical care experience.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English with patients, visitors and hospital team
• BLS – Basic Life Support certification required
• Prefer basic computer skills
• Candidate may be CNA, nursing student, or have clinical care experience

Responsibilities

• Assisting with activities of daily living
• Repositioning and ambulating patients
• Making beds (occupied & unoccupied)
• Assisting in transporting patients, beds, supplies and equipment
• Collecting, labeling and transporting specimens
• Retrieving and signing out blood products
• Accurately performs point of care testing
• Obtains vital signs and weights
• Maintains intake and output measurements
• Removes Foley catheters and saline locks
