Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health's Winchester Hospital is seeking a Clinical Associate for a 24-hour-per-week night shift. You will assist with activities of daily living, reposition and ambulate patients, transport equipment, collect specimens and perform point of care tests.

Requirements include High School diploma or equivalent, BLS, and eligibility as CNA or nursing student with clinical rotation or three months of clinical care experience; CATP completion also accepted.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and speaking English clearly for safe patient care.
• BLS - Basic Life Support certification expected.
• Must meet one of: CNA; nursing student with rotation; 3 months clinical care experience; CATP completion.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living for patients.
• Reposition and ambulate patients; assist in bed making.
• Transport patients, beds, supplies and equipment.
• Collect, label and transport specimens; sign out blood products.
• Perform point of care testing and obtain vital signs and weights.
• Maintain intake/output records; remove Foley catheters and saline locks.
