Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health's Winchester Hospital is seeking a Clinical/Administrative Associate to provide both clinical and administrative support on the unit. You will assist with ADLs, transport patients, obtain vital signs, and help maintain medical charts to ensure seamless patient care.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED; CNA or nursing student with clinical rotation is preferred. Night shift with every other weekend/holiday rotation; Basic Life Support required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have/be one of the following: CNA or nursing student with clinical rotation completed.
• Three months of clinical care experience preferred.
• Graduate of Winchester Hospital’s Clinical Associate Training Program preferred.
• BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide both clinical and administrative assistance on the unit.
• Perform basic procedures to ensure patient care, assist with ADLs, ambulating, bed making, transporting patients, collecting/labeling specimens, obtaining vital signs, and performing EKGs.
• Welcome and orient patients, family members and visitors to the environment.
• Provide administrative support so the patient care team can focus on care.
• Maintain accurate medical charts and handle copies/faxes to expedite care among departments.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Certified Nursing Assistant

Nursing student with completion of one medical-surgical clinical rotation

Three months clinical care experience

Graduate of the Winchester Hospital’s Clinical Associate Training Program
