Job summary

PENN Entertainment, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer to safeguard patrons, employees, and casino premises in a fast-paced environment. The role emphasizes vigilance, incident reporting, and adherence to internal controls.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, willingness to obtain annual WV licensing, CPR certification, and a valid driver's license. Overnight shifts (12a-8a) are required, including holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; one to three months related experience preferred.
• Must obtain licensing with the West Virginia Lottery and Racing Commissions every year of employment.
• CPR certification is mandatory.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license for the state you reside in.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of customers, employees and others on the premises.
• Greet patrons and inspect bags and items for unauthorized items.
• Report emergencies and critical situations to supervisors.
• Conduct continual patrols of casino premises and secure areas.
• Maintain integrity of slot and table games and handle chips per procedures.
• Prepare reports and assist in investigations as needed.
• Work overnight 12a-8a Mon-Wed as required.
