Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Manager, CAR-T Manufacturing Operations to lead the compliant, safe, and reliable execution of commercial CAR-T manufacturing in an aseptic cGMP environment. You will guide manufacturing personnel, ensure adherence to SOPs, and support readiness and continuous improvement across safety, quality, and performance outcomes.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, training, and collaboration with Quality, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing Science & Technology teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, engineering, biotechnology, or related discipline.
• Experience in regulated cGMP manufacturing, preferably biologics or cell therapy.

Responsibilities

• Lead compliant, safe, and reliable commercial CAR-T manufacturing operations in aseptic cGMP setting.
• Provide coaching, training, and real-time support to manufacturing personnel.
• Drive operational readiness and continuous improvement across safety, quality, and performance.
• Oversee batch records, documentation, and data integrity per ALCOA+ principles.
• Manage workforce planning, hiring, onboarding, and performance management.
• Communicate KPIs and production metrics to senior leadership and cross-functional partners.
• Lead deviation management, CAPAs, change controls, and problem-solving initiatives.
