Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Manufacturing Manager, Liso-cel CAR‑T, to lead commercial CAR‑T manufacturing operations in an aseptic cGMP setting. You will supervise a shift, ensure quality, drive safety and continuous improvement, and partner with Quality, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing Science & Technology.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, batch record reviews, data integrity, and meeting schedule commitments while maintaining a strong safety culture and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, engineering, biotechnology, or related discipline, or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Experience in regulated cGMP manufacturing, preferably biologics/cell therapy/aseptic processing.

Responsibilities

• Lead compliant, safe, and reliable CAR-T manufacturing operations in an aseptic cGMP environment.
• Provide hands-on manufacturing leadership, guidance, and real-time support to ensure schedule adherence.
• Maintain process qualification and support operational readiness for flexibility and continuity.
• Drive safety culture through leadership presence and Gemba activities.
• Oversee batch records review, data integrity, and ALCOA+ adherence.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, onboarding, and performance management to ensure readiness.
• Monitor KPIs and production metrics; communicate performance and resource needs.
• Ensure completion of site standards, training, and QA/compliance requirements.
• Partner with Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Science & Technology, and other stakeholders.
• Lead deviation management, CAPAs, change controls, and continuous improvement.
