Sheridan Group is hiring for a Manufacturing Associate - Finishing/Bindery on the nighttime shift (7p–7a). We’ll train you to operate high-speed bindery equipment, with overtime opportunities and a starting path to a long-term career in print manufacturing.

You’ll work on a fast-paced, team-driven floor and gain hands-on skills that translate to real-world products like books and catalogs. We offer comprehensive benefits after 30 days, paid time off and holidays, PPE provided, and opportunities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Basic math skills and use of measuring devices.
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort using basic tools.
• Reliable team player.

Responsibilities

• Feed books/signatures into machine.
• Pack books into cartons.
• Move materials to and from workstation.
• Perform hand operations as required.
• Work with a team to hit daily production goals.
• Inspect finished products for quality.
• Follow safety procedures and keep workspace clean.
