Job summary

Sheridan is hiring a Manufacturing Associate - Finishing/Bindery on the Night shift (7p–7a). We'll train you to run high-speed bindery equipment and produce books, catalogs, and printed materials. You’ll feed books into machines, pack them into cartons, and inspect finished products to meet quality standards.

Qualifications

High school Diploma or GED (or equivalent)
Experience operating machinery in any industry
Ability to read and comprehend instructions
Ability to read and interpret work orders and safety manuals
Basic math and measurement skills
Mechanical aptitude and comfort with basic tools

Responsibilities

Feed books/signatures into machine
Pack books into cartons
Move materials/books safely to the workstation
Perform light hand operations as needed
Work with a team to hit daily production goals
Inspect finished products for quality
Follow safety procedures and keep workspace clean
