Job summary

Eating Recovery Center Pathlight in Plano, Texas is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to support inpatient and residential patients on the night shift. You will provide supervision, structure, and boundaries, assist with meals, transport when needed, and contribute to therapeutic programming under nursing supervision.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, and valid driver's license if driving is needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record (if location requires vehicle use).
• 6 months direct patient care experience preferred.
• New hires: 1 year direct patient care experience required.
• Minimum ERC milieu experience: 1 year (internal teammates only).

Responsibilities

• Milieu management with daily program structure and safety checks.
• Provide meal support and bathroom monitoring.
• Document patient observations, meals and check-ins.
• Assist with morning routine and Activities of Daily Living.
• Support, supervise, and participate in therapeutic programming.
• May participate in on-call shifts as needed.
