Job summary

Quail Run Behavioral Health in Phoenix, AZ is hiring a Behavioral Health Technician for the night shift to support the treatment team with continuous patient care and supervision under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

The role involves monitoring patient locations, assisting with visitation, observing changes, applying interventions, and maintaining a safe, therapeutic environment in accordance with policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in behavioral health care with adolescents.
• High School Diploma or GED plus 4 years related education/work experience.
• Current CPR or BLS certification.
• Successful completion of SAMA including restraint and seclusion policies within 30 days.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Monitor each patient’s location per Observation Policy and Procedure.
• Assist with visitation in the evenings.
• Use sound judgment during assessment and observe/document changes toward treatment goals.
• Follow therapeutic interventions outlined by the treatment team.
• Comply with policies ensuring a safe, clean and therapeutic environment.

Skills

Behavioral health care experience with

Education
