Job summary

Promises Behavioral Health is seeking a Full-Time Behavioral Health Technician to join our residential treatment team in the United States. The role involves around-the-clock supervision, maintaining a therapeutic milieu, and supporting staff and clients in a 12-hour shift model, with a night differential for late-evening to early-morning hours.

Ideal candidates have at least one year in addiction or mental health settings, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in the addiction or mental health fields.
• High school diploma (or equivalent) preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Ability to speak clearly and persuasively; listen and seek clarification.
• Knowledge of MS Office and office equipment; maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a therapeutic milieu and supervise clients around the clock.
• Transport and escort clients as needed.
• Perform safety checks and enforce OSHA safety protocols.
• Stock supplies and manage client items and records.
• Document client behaviors, vitals, and medication observations.
• Support non-clinical group sessions within scope of practice.
