Job summary

ERC Pathlight is hiring a Behavioral Health Technician for a full-time night shift (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM) to supervise inpatients and assist with therapeutic programming. The role supports daily routines, meals, safety checks, and patient transport under nursing supervision.

Essential duties include milieu management, observation, de-escalation, and documentation. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license where applicable, and 6 months of direct patient care

Qualifications

• Milieu management and patient supervision responsibilities.
• Ability to support patients with coping skills per treatment plan.
• Experience or willingness to participate in on-call shifts where needed.
• Valid driver’s license where required by location.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily program structure following the schedule.
• Complete observation rounds and safety checks as ordered.
• Assist with meals, bathroom monitoring, and ADLs during shifts.
• Document patient observations and progress during shift.
• Provide transportation for medical appointments as needed.
