Job summary

Woodland Springs in Conroe, Texas is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to support the therapeutic milieu under RN direction, ensuring safety and dignified care. You will observe patients, assist with vital signs, group activities, and documentation, and help with admissions and transitions.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED, experience in psychiatric settings preferred, and will complete CPR and de-escalation certification within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• CPR and de-escalation certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the therapeutic milieu under RN supervision.
• Take vital signs, collect specimens, document care.
• Monitor safety and supervise patients.
• Escort patients to meals, breaks, and appointments.
• Report changes to the RN and assist with admissions.
• Orient new staff and maintain unit safety.
