Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Milford, MA is seeking a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse for a night shift position. The role provides physical, emotional, and psychological support to patients with various mental health conditions and coordinates care with an interdisciplinary team.

You will work to apply de-escalation techniques and support psychiatric medication management while ensuring safe, individualized patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in providing care to Behavioral Health patients.
• Current RN license in Massachusetts is required.
• Current CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assessment: Assess and document the patient's physical, psychological, and social needs using professional judgment.
• Planning: Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and communicate individualized care plans.
• Implementation: Provide individualized care, apply de-escalation techniques, and act as a resource for psychiatric medication management.
• Evaluation: Evaluate and adjust care plans based on patient response and team input.
• Organizational Skills: Prioritize tasks effectively in dynamic and emergency situations.
• Resource Utilization: Direct care team members and implement problem-solving strategies.
