Qualifications

• Required: Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• Required: BLS through AHA or ARC within 30 days of hire.
• Required (in select areas): ACLS within 6 months or first scheduled course offering.
• Required (in select areas): PALS within 6 months or first scheduled course offering.
• Required (in select areas): NRP Advanced Provider within 6 months or first scheduled course offering.
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for delivering and managing patient care from admission to discharge.
• Performs patient assessments and reassessments per standard procedure.
• Develops and coordinates individual plans of care including discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluates nursing care within the assigned setting.
• Delegates appropriately to others per job description and competency.
